The Goshen RedHawks baseball team dropped to 9-12 on the season Friday night with a 3-1 loss to the Fairfield Falcons. Ryen Diaz took a difficult loss on the mound despite a complete game giving up 3 runs (2 earned), 5 strikeouts with only 1 walk. Goshen gave up 3 quick runs in the first inning and held Fairfield in check for the remainder of the night. After falling behind 3-0, the RedHawk bats got some life in the 4th inning when Kyan Miller and Colton Rapp had back to back doubles. Rapp was able to score Miller on his double to drive in the lone Redhawk run of the evening. Bryson Wilson hit a 2 out triple in the 5th inning but wasn't able to score. Goshen ended the evening with 6 hits, Kyan Miller having 2 of them and scoring the only run. They play their final regular season game on Saturday when they travel to South Bend to take on the St. Joe Huskies at 1pm.
