The Goshen RedHawks won a non-conference game against East Noble on Thursday night by a score of 11-0 in 5 innings. Bryson Wilson picked up another win on the mound to improve his record to 5-1 on the mound. Wilson pitched a complete game, giving up only 3 hits and striking out 3 batters. The first 4 batters of the game reached base safely for the RedHawks, but some mistakes on the base paths saw them only push 1 run across in the first inning, taking a 1-0 lead after 1 inning. The 2nd inning was explosive for Goshen, seeing 10 runs cross the plate and blow the game open. Goshen had 7 hits in the inning: Brycen Eaton, Brady Kwilinski, Braxton Cline, Jensen Meikle, and Spencer Elliott each had a single, while Eaton tacked on a 2nd single in the inning. Jaxon Miller also had a double to contribute to the big inning. By the end of the night, Goshen saw Brycen Eaton, Jensen Meikle, Jaxon Miller, and Spencer Elliott each had multiple hits on the night. Miller also had 4 RBIs while Braxton Cline had 2 RBIs. The RedHawks wrap up their regular season on Saturday morning when they host Lake Central at 10am.
