Goshen High School Athletics

The Goshen boys varsity soccer team defeated Wawasee 5-1 on Tuesday night. Goals were scored by Kyston Drenth, Landon Clayton, Julio Valdez, Andres Melendez Lucio, and Will Richardson. Assists were provided by Cristian Robles, Cesar Vela, and Jonathan Barahona Rosales. Goshen's record now stands at 9-1-3 and 4-1-1 in the NLC. The RedHawks are back in action again at Warsaw on Thursday with the game starting at 7:15pm. The JV RedHawks defeated Wawasee 9-0 in one half of play. Goals were scored by Chino Torres (3), Angel Ramirez (2), Rey Rodriguez, Juan Juarez Salgado, Israel Herrera Jr., and Mayolo Salazar. Assists were provided by Juan Juarez Salgado, Cristian Lecona, and Angel Ramirez. The JV record now stands at 13-1. Their next match is Thursday at Warsaw with a start time of 5:30pm.
