Goshen High School Athletics

Friday night the Goshen RedHawks took on the Wawasee Warriors at Goshen High School. The RedHawks lost to the Warriors 34-21. Leading the offense for the RedHawks was Drew Elliot. He had 2 rushing touchdowns. He ended the night with 184 yards and two touchdowns. His longest run was a 72 yard touchdown run. Jace Hershberger led in receiving yards with 39. Leading the defense for the RedHawks was Hamptom Rivera. He had 6 tackles with one being for loss of yards. He also had a quarterback sack and a forced fumble. Drew Elliot had 9 tackles with one being for loss of yards. Evan Wagner also contributed 4 tackles. Anthony Longstreet recovered a block punt by Gabe Janisse and returned it for a touchdown. The Goshen RedHawks (0-3, 0-1 in NLC) are back in action next week as they travel to the Mishawka High School to take on the Mishawaka Cavemen.
