Goshen Boys Soccer Goes Undefeated at Penn Invitational

The Goshen boys soccer program participated in the Penn Invitational and came out victorious in all four games. The varsity team won the first game against Valparaiso 3-2. Goals were scored by Cristian Robles, Will Richardson, and Hayden Clark. Assists were provided by Jonathan Barahona Rosales and Aaron Mounsithiraj. The varsity team recorded a 1-0 victory against Crown Point in the second game of the day. Landon Clayton scored the winner on an assist from Kyston Drenth. The varsity team’s record now stands at 6-1-2. They are back in action again on Monday at home against Mishawaka at 6:00pm. The JV team won their first game of the day against Valparaiso 2-0. Caleb Cervantes scored both goals and Saul Faustino Ramirez provided an assist. The JV team was victorious over Crown Point by a score of 2-0 in their second game of the day. Goals were scored by Caleb Cervantes and Chino Torres. Mayolo Salazar provided the only assist. The JV record now stands at 9-0 and they are back in action again on Tuesday at Bethany.
