Goshen High School Athletics

Friday night the Goshen RedHawks traveled to New Prairie and took on the New Prairie Cougars. The RedHawks started out strong taking a 10-0 lead. However the Cougars pulled the win out 29-10. Leading the offense was Drew Elliott. He had 102 yards rushing. He rushed for a 39 yard touchdown run. Aaron Moousithiraj added a 33 yard field goal as well. Leading the defense for the RedHawks was Drew Elliott as well. He had 6 tackles and one being for loss of yards. Carter Diaz had 5 tackles. Jace Hershberger and Colton Sutton each had pass breakups. The RedHawks (0-2, 0-0 in NLC) are back in action Friday night against the Wawasee Warriors for the RedHawks home opener and first game in NLC action.
