Goshen High School Athletics

The Goshen varsity boys soccer team defeated Westview by a score of 5-0. Goals were scored by Nano Aguilar, Will Richardson, Christian Munos, Julio Valdez, and an own goal. Assists were provided by Cristian Robles, Rikelme Sanchez, Eirik Thune Hjelle, and Nano Aguilar. Didier Ruiz and Bryant Reyes combined for the shutout in goal. The RedHawks now stand at 3-0-1 on the season. The varsity team plays again on Thursday at home against Mishawaka at 8:00pm. The Goshen junior varsity soccer team extended their win streak with an 8-1 win over Westview. Goals were scored by Chino Torres (2), Sebastian Chavoyo-Lopez (2), Saul Faustino Ramirez, Bentley Medina, Dylan Alvarez, and Alejandro Hernandez. The JV record now stands at 4-0-0. They are back in action on Saturday at home against Northridge at 3:00pm.
